Somerley Weddings

No two weddings should be the same and at Somerley we pride ourselves on making your dreams come true. Whether it's a traditional garden party reception with croquet, strawberries and ice cream on the lawns, or 200 guests dancing the night away in a bespoke marquee - we want to make your fairytale a reality.

The spectacular Gallery at Somerley, which stretches 80', quite simply takes your breath away. Imagine your magnificent wedding breakfast in The Gallery with up to 130 family and friends. Drinks can be served in the Drawing Room which features a spectacular gilded ceiling or the East Library, lined with the original Wyatt bookcases.

Although four of the State Rooms are licensed for Civil Ceremonies, the Dining Room provides a romantic and intimate setting for the service and seats 80 guests. For larger weddings, the Gallery provides an unrivalled room for a Civil Ceremony for 200 guests. A drinks reception follows in the Drawing Room, after which guests leave the house to enjoy their wedding breakfast and dancing in a bespoke marquee, either in the gardens adjacent to the house or on the lower lawns.

In the summer, drinks and Pimms can be served on the Colonnade, to the music of a string quartet or steel band. In winter, Somerley is sparkling with Christmas decorations, glistening with hundreds of lights and crackling log fires.
