Whether it's a traditional garden party champagne reception with croquet, summer canapés and strawberries and cream on the lawn, or 200 guests dancing the night away in a bespoke marquee, the team at Somerley want to make your fairytale a reality. With a license for Civil Ceremonies, the house provides a magical setting for a dream wedding.

This beautiful private stately home is not open to the public and dancing is not permitted in the House. However, a bespoke marquee can be sited adjacent to the house, or on the lower lawns to accommodate more guests and dancing in the evening.

2010 Exclusive Use Fee For Weddings

Exclusive use of Somerley from 9.00am until 11.45pm for Civil Ceremony, use of the ground floor State Rooms and formal gardens for a drinks reception and the Gallery for the Wedding Breakfast (maximum 130 guests). Use of the State Bedroom for the Bridal party to change.
£8,000

For numbers above 130 guests, a bespoke marquee for the Wedding Breakfast and/or dancing is situated in the gardens adjacent to the House or on the lower lawns.
Price dependant on marquee specification

Exclusive use of Somerley from 9.00am until 6.00pm for Civil Ceremony, use of the ground floor State Rooms and formal gardens for a drinks reception and the Gallery for a Wedding Breakfast (maximum 130 guests). Use of the State Bedroom for the Bridal party to change.
£5,500

The above prices are for the exclusive use of Somerley and exclude VAT, food and wine. 

No two weddings should be the same and at Somerley we pride ourselves on making your special dreams come true. All the food is prepared by our in-house team and we cater for afternoon garden parties with champagne, strawberries and croquet on the lawns through to a three-course Wedding breakfast in the spectacular Gallery.

Should you require a Civil Wedding Ceremony, it is imperative that you contact the New Forest Registrars on 01425 470150, to ensure their availability before confirming your booking with us.

For those wishing a Church ceremony, Ringwood Parish Church can accommodate 350 guests and is just 10 minutes drive.
