"This is a truly beautiful setting and Somerley House is magnificent. The wedding breakfast in the gallery looked magical, old masters adorn the walls yet photographs of the Normanton family remind you that this is also someone's much loved home. We spent the night in the Annigoni suite with its comfortable sink-in beds and beautiful view from the window overlooking the river and open parkland with sheep as far as the eye can see. Breakfast the following day in the Drawing room was unhurried and served by welcoming and caring resident staff who treated us to a slice of life in a real stately home. We had the most unforgettable wedding celebration. Thank you for sharing Somerley with us."
