From Bournemouth
- Take the A338 North heading towards Christchurch and Ringwood
- Continue along this dual carriageway until reaching the main A31 roundabout (approx 8 miles)
- Turn right onto the A31 heading towards Ringwood and Southampton
- Exit at the Ringwood turn off and turn left back onto A338 heading towards Salisbury
- Follow the A338 for almost 3 miles and you will come to a sign for Ellingham Church on your left
- Turn left and follow this small road for 300 yards when you will see a white gate in front of you
- Drive through this gate which brings you onto the Somerley Estate and continue for half a mile
- Immediately after crossing the river over a rickety bridge, follow green signs to Old Somerley
From London/Southampton
- Take the M3 South heading towards Winchester, Bournemouth and Southampton
- At the end of the M3, take M27 West signposted to Bournemouth. The M27 turns into the A31 after approximately six miles
- Continue along the A31 for a further 8 miles
- Take the Ringwood turn off and turn right at the roundabout onto A338 heading towards Salisbury
- Follow the A338 for almost 3 miles and you will come to a sign for Ellingham Church on your left
- Turn left and follow this small road for 300 yards when you will see a white gate in front of you
- Drive through the gate which brings you onto the Somerley Estate and continue for half a mile
- Immediately after crossing the river over a rickety bridge, follow green signs to Old Somerley
From Salisbury
- Take the A338 heading South towards Ringwood and Bournemouth
- Four miles south of Fordingbridge you will see a sign to Ellingham Church on your right
- Turn right and follow this small road for 300 yards when you will see a white gate in front of you
- Drive through this gate which brings you onto the Somerley Estate and continue for half a mile
- Immediately after crossing the river over a rickety bridge, follow green signs to Old Somerley
